rld error

I have been making 'oglopt' performer applications
and have just made a dso version. I am
getting a rld error:
   rld: Fatal Error: attempted access to unresolvable symbol in mrp:
ProcessCommandLine__GPPci

  I have a strong suspison that ALL my routines,
once encountered will produce this error since this
is the first routine called in the app. Can anyone
explain why this is getting linked in at runtime
and not during the make?
