I loaded an airport database with 20 textures of various size textures. I then
load a object (HUD) containing a single sq. polygon with a texture. Using the
complex.c example for the Sirius Video, as my guideline, I did the following:
create Sirius video texture.
apply a predraw & postdraw callback to the HUD to override the existing texture
with the sirius video.
initialize the sirius video as per the example.
What I observed when I ran the program:
The HUD polygon gets the Sirius Video texture in two parts: the upper left
(botton half of the texture) quarter and lower left quarter (top half of
texture). The rest of the polygon gets textures from the airport database.
What I did to fix it was load a database with a few buildings (4) and 4
textures.
Anybody experience this problem, if so, can you explain what is going?
Also I checked the texture memory, and when I just load the database, I use
less
than 2 mbytes, which for RM5 says there is plenty of texture still left.
Thanks in advance,
sal
