When I try to run the sample program *cliptex* under directory
/usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpr/C with data in directory
/usr/share/Performer/data/clipdata/hunter, it does not seem to work. The
textures are not shown (only a white polygon is drawn), and the following
warning is echoed repeatedly on different memory blocks:
PF Warning(12): Problem pinning memory - 0x19421000 - 12
The same warning is echoed when running *icache* program under the same
directory with the same data. In this case, the texture is shown, but appears
to be smeared after a few frames.
In fact, when I try to run *run_multiclip* under
/usr/share/Performer/src/sample/C/asdfly, only polygons are shown also (no
terrain textures). It echos the same pinning memory warning as above, and one
more warning as below repeatedly:
PF Notice/Usage: OpenGL Error 0x500 - invalid enumerant
I am running the programs on a High Impact, under 6.2 with no patches. I am
using Performer 2.1 standard release. Here is more detailed info on the
hardware:

Does anyone have the similar experience, or can someone shed some light on what
might be going wrong for me? Do I have the correct Performer release version?
(I understand the ClipMap can be emulated on an Impact.)
Thanks,
Gan
