I had the same problem and finally tracked it down using dlopen. By
explicitly loading the DSO for the 3ds loader, you can get better error
information. On my system, the 3ds loader DSO was looking for a library
called libcil.so. I'd don't know what package this is from, but if anyone
else does, I would like to know. I couldn't find libcil.so on any of the
development CD's.
