Channel Data

Does anyone know of any limitations on the use
and/or implementation of allocating channel data?

I have an array of pointer of a user-defined data type
which corresponds to an array pf pfChannels. I
allocChanData for each channel and assign it to the
chan_data pointer. Everything seem to work fine with the
assigning of the channel data but none of the data seems
to make it into the call backs.

 I tried a sample struct for which I assigned every
channel to point to the same channel data and it
