I'm fairly confident that this question has been asked before,
but perhaps some could forward an old comment to me about it.

... I have an application that uses several channels (viewports)
within a 1280x1024 window. When looking at the stats for each
channel I see very small app, cull, and draw times, but see
a very large frame time. Is the frame calculated as ....
approx....
Frame = the sum of the app, cull, and draw times for all
the channels times the frame rate.

I have a draw=0.5, cull=1.1, app=0.5 msec and a frame of
71 msec for 3 channels which is producing about 30 Hz
update. It seems that if the total app, cull, and draw
for all three channels only takes 3*(.5+1.1+.5)=6.3 msec,
then I should be getting 60Hz without any trouble...
Can someone offer a better explaination or some insight
about why the frame may be taking so long....
  Thanks
