Yes, the comment about shadows is still valid for Irix 6.2 and Performer 2.1.
(Performer 2.1 does take advantage of a number of hardware features of
InfiniteReality, but shadows is not one of them). Support for shadows under
OpenGL did not make it into Performer 2.1. It will be added in the next
Performer release.
