pfLPointState viewing distance

Hi there,

can anyone tell me, why my pfLPointState-points disappear ?

I use pfLPointState for my light-points. That basically works.
But, as soon as I move further than about 1200 meters away, they
disappear. First they have a size of 3 pixels, then they are gone.

Now the thing I don't understand:

  IN ANOTHER, SMALL TEST-APPLICATION, THESE VALUES WORK !!!!

That means, the values above must be okay, as I can see the lights from
a much bigger distance than 1200 meters !

I've written down the mode values:

  diff_thresh: 0.100000

What values can there be else ?
