There is not a video/frame buffer limitation in your case (with 2 RM6 you could
get three 1024x768 with 8 subsamples AA), the limitation is on the pixel fill,
this is why Parviz configured a 4 RM6 machine:

DC = 4

1024 x 2304 x 4 x 60 = 576 Mtexels/s ===> 4 RM6

( if your system is 60hz)
