yes. thanks Daniela. actually, after sending out that message, i eventually
tracked down the libpfui source code (kinda ass-backwards, sorry list), and it
appears that things are just a bit more complex than i originally thought
they were. pfiInputXformTrackball::setMat() doesn't actually do anything to
the pfiInputXform matrix. and that's how it is supposed to work.
the same holds true for such things as setResetCoord, setMotionCoord. for
an explanation on the intricacies of what is actually going on here, get
back to me in about a week. or maybe someone who knows will explain it;.>
