Michael.

Just checked, and we definately have il_eoe loaded on the system. Not all
of it, but the following: il_eoe.man.il il_eoe.man.relnotes il_eoe.sw.c++
il_eoe.sw.fit il_eoe.sw.gif il_eoe.sw.jfif il_eoe.sw.photocd il_eoe.sw.sgi
il_eoe.sw.tiff

I assume there is some other problem then? THe error message I get is as
follows:

smack:absgh:/usr/share/Performer/data>perfly crater.3ds
PF Warning: pfdFindConverterDSO() - Could not load DSO for extension "3ds"
PF Info: All 1 processors available on this machine.
PF Warning: pfdFindConverterDSO() - Could not load DSO for extension "3ds"
PF Warning: pfdLoadFile() - Unable to load file crater.3ds because of problem finding pfdLoadFile_3ds
PF Notice: WARNING: could not load "crater.3ds"

Now, I have checked, and there are certainly the following files on the
machine:

smack:absgh:/usr/share/Performer/data>find / -name "*3ds*" -mount -print
/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds.so
/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds_igl.so
/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds_ogl.so
/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds_igl.so.2
/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds_ogl.so.2
/usr/lib/Performer/Debug/libpfdb/libpf3ds_igl.so
/usr/lib/Performer/Debug/libpfdb/libpf3ds_ogl.so
/usr/lib/Performer/Debug/libpfdb/libpf3ds_igl.so.2
/usr/lib/Performer/Debug/libpfdb/libpf3ds_ogl.so.2
/usr/share/Performer/data/crater.3ds
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds/3dsftk
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds/3dsftk/3dsftk.a
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds/libpf3ds
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds/libpf3ds/3dsftk.h
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpf3ds/libpf3ds/pf3ds.c

Which have '3ds' somewhere in their name.

So, anything else that has gone hideously wrong?

THanks for any help

Gary
