        Let's see, in 'normal' mode - 32 bits RGBA, 32 bits Z, double buffered =
        128 bits/pixel

        Don't forget multisample mode - 32/48 RGBA bits, 24/32 Z bits x
        #samples/pixel - adds up fast. Also accumulation buffer, stencil
        planes, underlay/overlay... Actually in large pixel depth, there are
        1024 bits/pixel - needed if you use 16 multisamples per pixel.

        On page 110 we are told that there is frame buffer memory
allocated to support 256 bits per pixel, which sounds very impressive. I
think it's a misprint because in my mind I can only account for 56.
Please confirm/refute.

Hi, Performer;

    Can any one tell me where to get, or e-mail me if available, the
following paper:

Akeley, K.:
RealityEngine Graphics
Proceedings of SIGGRAPH'93 pp. 109 - 116

     I tried sgigate.sgi.com/pub/Performer/docs only to see '94 and '95
pastscript compressed docs. I don't have a postscript printer and need
only plain ASCII format.

     Thanks for your help!
