Just got our new Max Impact with Performer 2.0. I'm completely new to
Performer and I'm not a programmer (yet... that's the next step!).
Anyway, I've noticed in this list archive of the last few months that
other people have had the same problem loading 3DStudio files into perfly.
What I haven't noticed, however, are any answers that are helpful to me,
perhaps people have been answering via private email. Anyway, if anyone
has any ideas as to how to get it working, I'd be more than pleased to
find out, as we have a number of 3ds files that we want to view.
At the moment, perfly is perfectly acceptable, but as time goes on and I,
or whoever, works out how to program and use C++ etc, we shall be able to
produce our own applications!
Thanks for your help.
Gary
PS. I think I know the answer to this already, but is it possible to get a
spacemouse to work with perfly? I know (hope) it would be possible to get
some interaction if I wrote my own application but as I say...
