porting 1.2 - 2.0

Hello all,

We are porting from Performer 1.2 to 2.0, and were wondering if any of you
could suggest some safe techniques in doing this. Should we install 2.0 to a
separate directory something like that. We still want to use the 1.2
libraries but will the installation corrupt some environment variables ? Or
anything like that ?
