I've had a very similar problem on a very simple program. It simply creates a
series of rectangles (dcs -> geode -> gset), each with its own pfMaterial
and pfTexEnv. After it makes about 130 of them, it gives me this error:

PF Warning/SysErr: _pfDirtCheck: bad pfObject index 2304
PF Warning/SysErr: _pfDirtCheck: bad pfObject index 2304
PF Warning/SysErr: _pfDirtCheck: bad pfObject index 2304
PF Warning/SysErr: _pfDirtCheck: bad pfObject index 2304

over and over again. This problem only occurs on our Onyx/RE2, not on our
Indigo^2. Anyone else experience this problem?
