Is there any chance that you keep pointers to the text or string
objects and try to use them after deleting the dcs? If so, then
that's the problem since they will both be deleted by the deletion
of the dcs. the answer is simple enough, either pfRef() the text
or else detach it from the dcs before deleting the dcs.

If this is not the problem, then we'll need more informatio to
be able to help you solve your problem.
