I'm back, tanned, rested, and ready. Some unfocused thoughts about
info-performer traffic:

  - I have a system in place for mail digests but as of yet, it
doesn't play nicely with the info-performer setup. I'll add this
to my to-do list for late-night extra-curricular projects.

  - The idea of moving info-performer to a newsgroup has floated
around for a while. Considering our current readership (~815
people) and traffic (~10 messages/day) we could probably bring
    together the votes to pass.

Personally, I'd prefer to try (optional, daily) digests before giving
more thought to creating a newsgroup. Drop me a note if you'd like
to be a digest guinea-pig.

  - This doesn't yet help the subscribe/unsubscribe problem. I've
toyed with the idea of adding a "How-To" informational header or
footer to each message, to the digest, or a periodic (weekly)
administrivia message. I think this will work well enough that
    filters won't be necessary.

Allan
ps. No, it wasn't my wedding. Keep those proposals coming. ;-)
