C++ and C versions of perfly

I have modified perfly to use my own view parameters, and I notice
a slight difference in performance between the C and C++ version ( The
C++ version being slower ).
Is there an explanation for this ?
How should I proceed in analyzing the performance difference ?
At first glance, the code seems identical.
