This is really only the case if youre loading database & or mallocing etc.
To modify the vertices information in a geoset is relatively straightforward
but there can be some minor gotchas depending on process model. You may have
to use multiple copies of your geometry and round-robin their use.

I suppose the former would be more flexible but the latter would be simpler.
