I just want to add that my remark was in no way meant as an attack on the whole SGI product line. My apologies if some of you took it that way. SGI has all my
respect in a lot of field where it is present.

My point was simply that I find the texture capabalities of low end Indys and Indygo2 somewhat poor. I'm sure that makers and users of modeling tools like DWB
and Multigen will agree with me. Bring up a single textured polygon and everything slows down to a crawl.

Personnaly I'm a big SGI advocate. I prefer a lot more working on SGIs than on of any other platforms. I truly appreciate working with the Performer toolkit
and I admire the effort you guys are putting into it. Not to mention the support you give us through this mailing list. I have no doubt that producing the same results using PCs would be a lot harder for us.
