It is certainly possible to re-size US-A4 documents, most people use the
utility "pstops". I got a lot of suggestions on this, Simon Edwards of Silicon
Graphics UK offered....
pstops '2:1L++at++.7(21cm,14.85cm)+0L++at++.7(21cm,0)' <in-file> <out-file>
However there was a separate problem with the postscript version of the
performer technical report: "pftech2.0.ps"
Urs Meyer of SG Switzerland pointed out that there was an error in the
"FrameMaker Prolog file" of that document. However his suggested fix did not
work. This problem is still outstanding.
Andrew McCausland of Silicon Graphics UK suggested...
> The file you need to modify is /usr/frame/fminit/ps_prolog (from subset
>frame.sw.base)
at that point my attention span timed out. I am sorry.
