keybindings for keypad with pfuEvent ?

We have tried to use the keypad with pfuEvent, but they appear to not even
be placed into pfuEvent-- we added a print statement in processKeybdInput()
of perfly to printout everything that comes through and the keypad presses
don't show at all.

Is there a simple way to get access to the keypad through the existing
performer 2.0 API or do we have go to X ?
