pfiv1.6 & Inventor2.1

I'm getting loader errors when trying to compile with performer 1.2,
pfiv1.6 and Inventor 2.1.

The errors:

System Info: Onyx/RE2, Irix 5.3

Is there a way to get pfiv1.6 and Inventor2.1 to coexist peacefully, or
will I have to downgrade to Inventor2.0/upgrade to Performer2.0?
