Are you sure that you were running /usr/sbin/perfly and not some other perfly?
Are you sure that you installed the 2.0 loaders?
What was the nature of the failure?
Can we see some error messages?
Run with a debug notify level (-n 5 to perfly or setenv PFNFYLEVEL 5) and
see if the output explains the problem.
