You can "spawn" a process executing the command playaiff(FILENAME.aiff)
using fork() and exec()...

In this case you need to ignore the SIGCHLD signal :
signal(SIGCHLD, SIG_IGN);
in order to clear from the process table.

otherwize , you'll obtain a message : "no more process!!!"
