Schlumberger-Doll Research offers an exciting job opportunity to develop a
virtual reality/model-building application for geology. As the successful
applicant for this position, you'll lead the visual simulation component of
this key project working with other scientists and technical professionals
in a small, dedicated team. The first project is expected to continue for
three years.
You must have a proven track record in producing virtual reality/visual
simulation applications and an advanced degree plus a minimum of five years
experience in the field. (Equivalent combinations of experience and
education are also acceptable.) Proficiency in Unix, SGI, GL/openGL,
C/C++ are essential; Open Inventor and Performer are desirable.
