I think that the problem is that they run out of framebuffer space for the
acbuffer. One reason is that they let performer use 8 subsamples and then the
acbuffer has no space to be allocated => software mode->SLOW

I may suggest to force multisample with only FOUR subsamples and then use
acbuffer, it should work fine (if i am not wrong ;-) )
