Simon and Bernard,

Thanks for the input. For the most part we are not having any
problems. But when we run a 3 channel scene, the application will
freeze periodcally. Sometimes indefinitly, sometimes not so
indefinitly. The application is not core dumping or dying. The
processor activity is 0. From as near as I can determine, the
draw process just simply hasn't seen the signal/event to start.
I have been looking for any possibility where we might be creating
an "MP-unsafe" situation for Performer. I wondered if the
mapping of SCRAMNet memory to a Performer program might cause some
of the same interactions that were described between the to types of
shared memory libraries. We are running our application under Vega 1.2
(with Performer 1.2). I have been waiting for Performer 2.0 and
Vega 2.0 to see if our problems persist. Thanks again for the
        input.
