I doubt there's ever been any incompatibilities between SVR4 IPCs and IRIS
arenas because we've been using shared memory segments to communicate between a
simulation and a Performer process since october 1993. This's been done using
Performer 1.0/1.2 on IRIX 4.0.5/5.2.
We've never experienced any problem...
