Jean-Marc,

You should use the vgAddFunc command to install a callback function which
will be invoked postdraw on a specific channel. This is the typical method
used to draw an overlay and will draw the overlay in the VEGA window, not
the root window. I have just executed a test case which does this and it
works appropriately. Let me know if you are still having problems with
this.

Help!

This might not be the proper mailing list for this
question but here it is anyway:

We are using Vega from Paradigm (which sits on top
of Performer). We put some GL drawing code in
a channel postdraw callback. But our drawing
is always done on the root window while VEGA
opens its own window. Obviously we would like
our drawing to be in the VEGA opened window NOT
on the root window. And there does not seem to
be a way to ask VEGA for the windowid of the
window it opens.

Anyone with help out there?

Thanks.
