Hi,

We have an Onyx RE2, and we currently can only control the x,y screen
offsets for the composite output with "vout". Unfortunately, since vout
does not take command line input, we are not able to change the screen
offset from another program or from the command line. We would like to
gain this type of control over the screen offsets.

The Video Library of the Digital Media library is useless for a
standard Onyx RE (no video daemon), and our local SGI rep says there
is no SGI-approved procedure other than vout for setting the offsets
on our type of system.

Does anybody out there know how to overcome this problem, or know how
vout works?

Eric
