HELP! I am getting a very strange behaviour. Sometimes my
program runs fine and other times I get a machine lockup. Just before
the machine locks up, the CPU SYS activity goes way up and I can not
kill -9 the process. I can do a kill -5 to get a core, but the process
still doesn't die! Here is what I get from DBX:

   0 _pause(0x0, 0x10157e40, 0x10157e50, 0x1) ["pause.s":15, 0xfae2478]
   1 _pfWrapTime(0x5cf090, 0x10157e40, 0x10157e50, 0x1) ["../../../lib/libpr/time.c":385, 0x5cee0c]
   2 pfInitClock(0x0, 0x10157e40, 0x10157e50, 0x1) ["../../../lib/libpr/time.c":285, 0x5ce970]
   3 pfInit(0x0, 0x10157e40, 0x10157e50, 0x1) ["../../../lib/libpf/pfProcess.C":545, 0x56cdac]
