 Hi,

I'm new to performer, and am trying to get a feel for the proper
way to model so as to best utilize IRIS Performer. I'd love to
get some advice from some of you gurus out there. I hunted around
in the topics section of the Performer web page, but didn't seem
to find anything on this.

For instance:

I've heard that using stencils is very expensive. Avoid using it.
This came from a discussion about using subfaces in MultiGen.
Generate more polygons instead.

 A Question:

I thought I read somewhere that placing texture u,v coords a certain
way (?? like putting u,v=0,0 on a vertex ??) was faster. Did I hear
right ?

It's hard coming up with good questions because I'm so new. Any
comments greatly appreciated.

thanks,

 dp.
