Yes. That's one of the major new features currently supported
in the OpenFlight R14.2 loader for Performer 2.0. This loader
can correctly build multiple, coherent geostate tables using
OpenFlight polygon IR material attributes. These geostate
tables are suitable arguments for calls to Performer 2.0's
pfChanGStateTable() and pfApplyGStateTable(). With two
geostate tables, it can automatically setup for out the
window and IR visuals. The application must still manipulate
the associated pfMaterial's for proper effect in the IR
channel. I'm working towards being able to support many
concurrent, _alternative_ visuals using these new facilities
... with only one scene graph.
