Has anyone worked with Bentley Software's MicroStation CAD, and tried to open
models created in there in Performer? The native file format is .dgn - it's an
IGDS file format. Right now, we're trying to save the file as AutoCad dwg or
dxf and then load it into Performer, but running into problems when converting
the B-Spline surfaces to Polygon meshes, which seem to give us unconnected
segments. Has anyone tried the same thing? Our other option is to save it as
an IGES file, but we would need to create/find a loader for that. Has anyone
done that perhaps, or is that possible to do?
Thanks for any help,
Renee
