I am writing a Performer App where I am trying to insert a human into
a virtual environment using polhemus sensors to track head, arms and
torso. I have seen some previous posts to this group regarding the
use of these sensors so I thought I would try here as well.

I want speed! The manual says that the Fastrak device can output
a sample from all four sensors at 30 Hz. To do this I must run in
continuous mode, at 19.2K baud (with their 16BIT binary format) or
38.4K baud (IEEE fp format).

Has anybody out there been successful doing this? If so, would you
mind sharing the code...specifically how the termio stuff is setup.
I keep having problems with getting out of sync with the packets that
come in.

Any help would be appreciated,
scott
