YES WE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IN FACT WE FREQUENTLY ALSO FIND
OURSELVES CAUGHT UNDER THE TERRAIN (NOTE THAT ALL OUR VERTICES MATCH).

FINALLY WE DECIDED TO FLY RATHER THAN DRIVE

        Hi,

We're trying to add terrain following (and object collision
detection) to a virtual "world" we've created using Designers Work
Bench. The normal terrain following and collision detection implemented
in perfly does not work. When we walk in an area that has a roof over
it, you end up on the roof and you can walk through walls and pillars,
        etc.

How does Performer know what the ground is ( is there something we
could do in DWB to tell Performer what the ground is ?)

Can someone PLEASE detail the process we need to go through to get
this terrain following and collision detection to work? Thanks very
        much!

        Herb
