Using Spaceball in Performer

 I am willing to use Performer with a spaceball. "Run Confidence Tests" says
 that my spaceball is working ok, and I have heard that perfly provides
 support for spaceballs. However, it doesn't seem to have any effect in the
 demo.

 The manual seems to be silent about this... and libpfu only have pfuMouse
 support.

 Are spaceballs supported, and in the affirmative, is anyone able to point
 out examples/online manuals about this?
