Dear Micheal,

there have been already a lot of questions and answers concering Performer 2.0
in the performer mailing list. In one of your answers to such a question you
mentioned the new Indigo2/Impact workstation. I have heard some rumours about
the new Impact Graphics. One of it says that the rendering power of the Impact
equals nearly that of the RealityEngine2. Is that really true? If it is true
the next question must be: Does Silicon Graphics currently develop a graphics
subsystem which soon will replace the RealityEngine2, a "RealityEngine3"? I ask
this question because we want to purchase an addditonal RealityEngine2 pipe for
one of our Onyx systems by the end of this year.

Thank you for any information.

Peter
