Dear Jordan,
I don't know if MultiGens's approach is that bad. Transformation
Software in the UK told me that they gave the format specification to
someone only to find that they were starting to write a modelling package
that competed directly with them. I can't think of a single modelling
package that doesn't have some control over it's binary (as opposed to
ascii) format. Either they license the format spec itself or you have to
buy software library support instead. What's .dwb format ascii or
binary ?

        Regards,

        Martin Nicholas.
