! OpenFlight Format really open ? !

Hello,

I have a simple question concerning the flt-format: I sometimes read about
the "OpenFlight"-format. Is it really open? If so, where can I find a
description of it? Or is "OpenFlight" the wrong term?

Any help will be appreciated.
