2 GUI panels in Performer?

Has anyone been able to setup two different GUI panels the perfly
program. I've run out of space on the default panel. Now I would like
to be able to toggle between different panels (two at least). I've tried
setting up another pfuNewPanel and pfuEnablePanel the necessary panel but
this has been without success. Are we limited to one panel? or one GUI?
or one GUIViewport? Any clues will be greatly appreciated?
