Hi info-performers,

        We have the opportunity to buy a 4D 440 Reality Engine
with system 5.3, 128 Mb RAM and 1.2 Gb disk for about $50 000.
        I would like to know if Performer and REACT works well on such
workstations.
        What performance can we expect from the 4 R3000 ++at++ 40 MHz ?
        Do you still use such systems ?
        How long do you think such systems to be useful (I mean
knowing that system 6.0 will never work on R3000) ?
        And last but not least, is it a good bargain ?
