If a Crimson RE with one RM acts the same as an Onyx with VTX graphics
then you'll be able to get multi-sampling at a resolution of 960x680 -
which although not 1280x1024 (it's half the total pixels) is still higher
than VGA.... You'll have to do a setmon -x and restart the graphics
and/or logout for it to take effect...
