A while back, Jim Pinkerton, Univ. of New Mexico, was having trouble getting his
crystal eyes to work properly on an Indigo Extreme. I too have been having
trouble getting crystal eyes to work properly on a crimson VGXT system. It
appears that I have found a solution to this problem. In my OpenPipeline
subroutine which I use the equivalent to setmonitor(STR_RECT). Which then
displays in a 120Hz steromode. Then my two channel viewports are set to the
top and the bottom halves of the screen. This then overlays the two channels
nicely. Then by adjusting the ChanViewOffsets and the Field's of view as
illustrated in sfly, I was able to get a stereographic image.

Now for my first question, we have a set of CrystalEyes and when we run the
application in stereographic mode there appears to be some minor bleeding of
the right image in the left eye and vice versa. Is there some way to correct
this?

Second question, being a newbie to performer and programming in general, how
does on optimize computer code for speed? The code I have is a molecular
dynamics simulation with a gl sphere for each atomic position for a total of
108 spheres. Based upon the Stats it appears that the Drawing portion of the
routine takes the most amount of time.
