FYI: Performer 2.0 will directly support this type of functionality.
Channels will be assigned to windows and pfPipes will be able to have
multiple windows. You will be able to create/close new windows at run-time.
All of the channels and windows of a pfPipe will have to be on the
same screen and will share the same draw process.
This functionality will be supported for IRIS GL, Mixed Mode IRIS GL,
and OpenGL.
