There is a 3rd party GUI designed called builderXcessory which is widely
used within SGI. It provides a visual front end for widget placement
and design and then outputs Motif or Viewkit code. There is a demo
version available on some of the HotMix CD's.

Doug Young's Viewkit should also be investigated. It provides an
object oriented layer on top of Motif to simply Motif UI programming.
It is especially good for those who like C++. Viewkit is used in SGI
products like WorkShop.
