I have been trying to get perfly to read a simple Inventor file but
have had no luck. I saw in the Performer FAQ that an updated LoadIV
program was to be distributed "at a future date." Has that happened
yet? If so, how can I get it? If not, when?

Here is what I have done:
run the I3DM program
   create a cone.
save it as an ascii Inventor file (cone.iv)
save it in the i3dm format (cone.sv) // Performer is supposed to read
// this format, too. It doesn't.

run "perfly cone.iv"
prints a message that 4 CPUs are available, then hangs.
   ^C to exit

run "perfly cone.sv"
   same behavior as above.

System particulars:
   Onyx RE2 with 4 cpus
   1024MB RAM
   IRIX 5.2
   Performer 1.2

Thanks in advance--
Thom DeCarlo
