video texture corruption

We have a RE 2 with RM-4s and a Sirius board. Our Performer
1.2 application loads in various textures and creates
a surface with a video texture (using GL calls). When no non-video textures
are used things work fine. However as we increase the
number of textures we notice...
        - parts of other textures start appearing along the left edge
          of the video texture,
        - after loading still more/larger textures, the video
          texture starts flickering

It looks like a bug in texture memory management, in particular
when textures are being swapped and refreshed (using subtexload).

Is this a known problem?
