I expect I experience a semilar problem trying to model a combined
tunnel/bridge project in Denmark. Beeing such a small country is is often
practical to work in a general coordinate system valid within Denmark. In
the actual case the origo of the bridge/tunnel project is about (110000.0
220000,0 0.0) with a project area of appr. 20x20 km. which leads to
'flapping' just as Jean-Francois is explaining (i.e. the whole database
flaps)
I have experimented a bit with the problem and have discovered that moving
the whole database to a new origin (0.0 0.0 0.0) works for me. If you are
allready there I expect an other thing to do would be to scale down the
database as I suspect it has something to do with Performer not beeing
able to work with large numbers.
Please let me know if this is of any help.
Regards, Bjoern
